 Allied invasion forces under the control of the United States to Libya sparked international condemnation, not only member countries of the
Arab League (except Saudi Arabia which would send combat aircraft), but also leftists in various countries.
Old friend of President Moammar Qaddafi of Libya, Venezuela's President Hugo Chavez, openly accused the Allied invasion resulted in civilian casualties to 48 people.
"Bombing inconsequential. Who gave the rights to the Western nations that? United States, France, Britain, or any country not entitled to drop the bombs," Chavez denounces.
